The Huawei P30 Pro has just launched and we got our hands on it and checked out it's rear camera system. So is this the best camera phone now? Let us know what you think in the comments below. The Huawei P30 Pro is powered by a Kirin 980 SoC. This variant has 8GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage. It comes in 4 different colour variants. This one we have has a purple to bluish hue which changes colours as it moves. The Huawei P30 Pro has a triple-rear camera system with 40MP+20MP+8MP lenses. The 40MP camera has been re-engineered in collaboration with Sony and features RYB pixels not RGB so instead of green you have yellow. This Huawei claims allows the camera to have 40% more light collection without changing the sensor or aperture size. The 20MP camera is an ultra wide and the 3rd camera is an 8MP telephoto lens that offers 5X optical zoom with an f3.4 aperture. All 3 lenses are Leica branded and there is optical stabilisation. There is also a time of flight camera embedded inside the phone. The Huawei P30 Pro doesn't have a headphones jack and supports reverse wireless charging. It's launched in Europe and has gone on sale for 999 Euros.
