We got our hands on the Huawei Mate X, a 5G foldable phone that may just cost upwards of 1.6 lakh rupees when it launches commercially in India. The Huawei Mate X will be available only in one colour, i.e; Interstellar Blue and will also have a built in fingerprint sensor as the primary security feature, along with a host of connectivity options in terms of 3G, 4G, 5G, GPS, Wifi and Bluetooth capabilities. The phone will come with 512GB of internal storage. It has an 8-inch 2K display that folds. There is a 6.6-inch AMOLED panel on the outside. While we noticed a crease in the middle, Huawei said this wasn't the final product and the final commercial model won't have a crease. The Smartphone will be powered by 2.6 GHz 


Octa core HiSilicon Kirin 980 (7 nm) Processor. There's 8GB of RAM & Mali-G76 MP10 graphics processor will ensure phone runs smoothly even the most memory intensive applications with no signs of lag. 512GB of internal storage will be open for expansion upto 256 GB via a microSD card. The Phone will come with a powerful 4500 mAh battery to support it's 8 inch screen with AMOLED display having a resolution of 2200 X 2480 at 414 ppi. Huawei Mate X will come with a triple camera setup made in collaboration with Leica. It will support high dynamic range(HDR) imaging. Watch as we play some games, use the camera and do some multitasking on the Huawei Mate X.
